Providence, RI – Today, Rhode Island General Treasurer James A. Diossa announced that CollegeBound Saver will offer participants in the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services’ Summer Reading Program, the opportunity to win a $529 contribution for college and $500 for their local library. Parents and guardians of children enrolled in the program at local libraries may enter the contest on their behalf at collegeboundsaver.com/voice from June 19 to August 28. Four winners will be selected to receive a contribution to a new or existing CollegeBound Saver account.

“This contest is a great opportunity for Rhode Island children to keep their minds sharp over the summer by spending time at their local libraries, while giving them a chance to build their college savings,” said General Treasurer Diossa. “I encourage all Rhode Island families to open CollegeBound Saver accounts to help finance their children’s future education.”
