Treasurer Diossa Names Kaschel Chief Operations Officer for RI

Providence, RI – Today, Rhode Island General Treasurer James A. Diossa announced Tiffany Kaschel as the Treasury’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kaschel has previously served as Acting Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and Project Manager since joining Treasury in 2016.

As COO, Kaschel will manage the administrative policies and procedures for Treasury including the department’s budget and financial controls, business operations, and personnel administration, as well as the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.

“I am pleased to have Tiffany leading Treasury operations,” said General Treasurer Diossa. “Her experience and skills will ensure that we continue to deliver the excellent service that Rhode Islanders have come to expect from this office.”

Kaschel is a resident of Cranston and holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Management from Austin Peay State University.
