Treasurer Diossa Recognizes Young Leader Award Recipients at Rhode Island State House Published on Friday, May 03, 2024 This evening, Rhode Island General Treasurer James A. Diossa presented top students from around the state with the 2024 Young Leader Awards. In a ceremony on the floor of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, recipients were highlighted for their high achievement, community service, and entrepreneurial spirit. "It's vital for the schools and communities across our state to have young leaders like these recipients, who can serve as role models for their peers. They play a crucial role in preparing all of Rhode Island's students for the challenges of life after high school." said General Treasurer Diossa. 51 high schools from across Rhode Island nominated students for the Young Leader Award.
