It is very difficult for me to express how the pension reform has affected me and all my fellow retirees. However, I will try to put it simply. We have pretty much lived on the same amount of money for 12 years.

With the cost of everything rising to unheard of levels, we are barely able to survive. We worked hard knowing some day we would retire with a pension and an annual raise. We need to get a cost of living increase just to keep up with inflation. Former Governor Raimondo hurt a lot of people. Please reconsider repealing the current law. We need a fair adjustment to the current situation.
