I realize that the December 14 meeting has passed whereby you would be accepting testimony but I wanted to also mention again that I am one of the members who chose the social security option as my pension when I retired in June 2008. This option is also known as the SRA plus. In other words, the state frontloads you more money equivalent to what your Social Security would be at age 62 in your early years of your retirement . I was 54 years old when I retired so I was able to collect an additional $800 per month until I was the age of 62. When I did turn 62, my pension dropped around $1300 per month, and I have had no additional cola since then except for a cola in 2011, and a cola in 2012, and that was it! There are many many members that retired between the age of 48 and 58 who chose this option the social security option . now all of us have had our pensions caught at the age of 62 and I feel that we were promised the cola to make up the difference of this drop, but we never did receive what we should have received, so please consider the people that took the Social Security option. I did not want to take my Social Security at the age of 62 so I did not thus being without this major income for a longer period of time. Please consider those that took the Social Security option. We were not allowed to go back into the system and choose a different option, which I think would have been a great idea to allow us to do that.

Thank you for your consideration if you do get to read this testimony
