BankLOCAL Community Deposit Program

Over the years, BankLOCAL played a key role in advancing inclusive growth throughout Rhode Island. Through Treasury’s Community Deposit Program, BankLOCAL utilized state deposits in partnership with local banks and credit unions to provide much needed capital to small businesses, supporting economic growth and opportunity statewide. BankLOCAL helped supply loans to nearly 600 small businesses across the state, depositing more than $56.25 million into local banks and credit unions.
